Frequently Asked Questions?

FAQs

What can I expect on my first visit?

On your first visit, we will discuss the intake paperwork and answer any questions you may have. We will talk about your goals for therapy and what you’re hoping for. We will come up with a plan for us to work together. The plan is fluid and can be changed at any time.

How long is therapy?

Therapy is a personal and individual process; there is no set time. However, because I take a solution-focused approach to therapy, we will discuss what you’re hoping to achieve and how you may get there. Changes happen in our lives every day, so you may visit consecutively, take a break and come back when you need it. Therapy sessions are typically once a week that last 60 minutes.

How much are your services?

$90 for individual therapy for self-pay individuals. $100 if you’re using your out-of-network benefits. $30 for clinical (individual) supervision and $20 for (group) supervision.

Why are your rates for self-pay and using out-of-network benefits different?

My goal is to make therapy accessible to those who are underinsured or uninsured, thus the lower rates for self-pay. If a person is insured and has out-of-network benefits, the rate is the typical, average rate that most therapists charge for an hour of service.
